Club Professional – Paddy Devine PGA
Paddy Devine PGA joined Sutton Golf Club as the Club Professional in May 2017. Paddy is a product of the Island Golf Club, where as a member at the age of 12 he began to learn to play the game of golf on one of the country’s premier golf links courses. As an amateur, Paddy represented his club at all levels and in 2006 he turned Professional.
He spent two years playing on the Euro-pro tour taking part in over 20 events and having gained a wealth of experience through challenging himself against Europe’s best up and coming Professionals he was offered the opportunity to join the Royal Dublin Golf Club as an assistant PGA professional. Throughout the next 9 years he learned all the skills necessary to take on the lead role at Sutton as Club Professional. Paddy remains a keen golfer and plays regularly on the Irish PGA regional circuit and he runs a fully stocked Pro-shop here at Sutton with many of the leading brands.
Paddy has recently opened an indoor swing room to the great appreciation of the members and from where he now offer golf lessons, custom fitting and golf simulator all take place. Paddy brings a great sense of enthusiasm to his role and he is very keen to improve the members and visitors experience here at this great Golf Club.
