The Member’s Bar and Panoramic Restaurant at Sutton GC
A businessman visited Sutton Golf Club for drinks and dinner in our new clubhouse shortly after it opened. This Californian was an avid golfer and had played and socialised in all the great clubs in Ireland, Scotland and the United States. He wrote to thank the club for the courtesy and hospitality he enjoyed and made this remarkable statement “of all the clubhouses I have visited over the past 40 years I have never seen such splendid views. On this clear Summer’s day, for the first time in my life, I experienced ‘The Stendhal Syndrome’. I was in the presence of astonishing beauty”.

Sutton Golf Club members and their guests enjoy exclusive access to our Member’s Bar while visiting players and groups may use the adjoining Clubhouse lounge and Panoramic Restaurant .
The Member’s Bar boasts an incredible number of historic team pennants and from our bar, lounge and restaurant you can step out on to the balcony and be overwhelmed by the views out in to the estuary at Portmarnock round to the Hill of Howth, Ireland’s Eye and northwards towards towards Lambay and the Cooley and Mourne Mountains.

Our Panoramic Restaurant, with a capacity of 110 is ideally suited to after golf dining and functions where a high standard of food and service is always delivered. Our restaurant can be set up for formal or informal dining depending upon the nature of your event.
The restaurant is open 7 days a week Winter and Summer with opening times linked to daylight hours in Winter. A great selection of high quality fare is available both before and after your round and booking is advisable.
A full catering service is available to members and their guests on Club competition days . During off peak times our snack menu offers soup, sandwiches, scones, tea and coffee from 11.00am to 5.00pm daily. Sunday lunch is available for members and their guests from 12.30pm to 3.00pm. Pre-booking is advisable.
